I get bored very easily. It's why I have to rearrange my furniture every month, get urges to get out of the house at three o'clock in the morning, and find myself more than a little compelled to raise a small army of highly trained cats and dogs. Thankfully, my dear husband manages to put up with my weirdness rather masterfully, ne'er blinking an eye at my now all-too-familiar oddities. Plus, he really loves his Freyr cat and his Bianca dog.

Latest Workshop Update

The sandwich picture. It's a sandwich my husband made a couple months ago, and he demanded I take a picture of this godly creation of his. If I recall correctly, it is a grilled cheese sandwich on the bottom, with roast beef, ham, cheddar and caramelized onions on the top, all smooshed into one artery-cloggin sandwich. It won't make the recipe page, I'm afraid, so it ended up here. Happy now, my dear? I love you.
I'm going to be adding more content to this section in the upcoming months. Keep an eye on the date for changes!
I've transferred over the pet sections from the old site, but elected to be rid of the pets that we were fostering, as it has become quite a big too long! I kept Tom Cat in there, though, because he's just cool beans.

Our Fuzzballs

I swore I would never own cats. My husband swore he would never own dogs. Then...we moved to the middle of nowhere, Texas, and I started volunteering at the local animal shelter. Now, we own two dogs and six cats, and we always have foster animals in the home, too. We have a four-bedroom house and no kids, so that's all fine for now. What happens when we start breeding? Well, let's just say our kids will never want for fuzzy friends.
Our local shelter is the Corinne T. Smith Animal Shelter. If you live in the Brownwood, TX, area, they could always use another helping hand as well as any pet-related or monetary donations.
