Zilinski Spinach Lasagna Rolls

This actually started out as somebody else's mushroom-lasagna roll recipe, but we were out of mushrooms...and a new meal was born. It's tasty, filling, and because it has spinach in it, I like to think it's healthy...but it's probably not.

Ingredients

  • 4 oz. cream cheese
  • 10 oz. frozen chopped spinach, thawed, drained
  • 1¼ c. shredded mozzarella
  • ¼ shredded parmesan
  • 6 cooked lasagna noodles
  • 2 c. sauce from our family recipe

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375F. Mix cream cheese, spinach, one cup of mozzarella and the parmesan in a large bowl. Spread the mix onto the noodles, and roll it up nice and tight.
  2. In a 9x9 baking dish, pour enough of the sauce on the bottom of the pan to just coat the bottom. Place the rolls in the sauce. Pour the rest of the sauce on top, then top with the rest of the cheese.
  3. Bake for a half-hour.
