I love chocolate in a ridiculous way. I think that there is never not a good time to have chocolate and like to fool myself by saying that chocolate is good for my body and mind. Well, my husband is not so much into sugary anything of any kind. But he loves, loves, loves peanut butter cups. So, here is our peanut butter bar recipe, that tastes like peanut butter cups, and that satisfies us both immensely!

Ingredients

  • 1 c. melted butter
  • 2 c. graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 c. peanut butter
  • 2 c. semisweet chocolate chips
  • 4 TBS peanut butter

Directions

  1. Mix the butter, crumbs, sugar and 1 c. peanut butter very well. Press it into a 9x9" pan.
  2. Put the chocolate and 4 TBS peanut butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for one minute, stirring every twenty seconds until melted and spreadable.
  3. Spread the chocolate on the peanut butter mixture in the pan. Refrigerate for an hour. Cut into 2" squares and enjoy!
