Zilinski Parmesan White Fish

Tilapia is my white fish of choice, but this works with any old white fish that happens to be on sale. Fish and cheese, cheese and fish, cheeeeeese. Gawd, I love cheese. But you have to pair it with something else to call it dinner. Alas!

Ingredients

  • 2 white fish fillets
  • 2 TBS melted butter
  • ¼ c. shredded parm
  • 3 TBS italian seasoning
  • 2 tsp fresh black pepper
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 lemon

Directions

  1. Preheat broiler. Grease broiler pan.
  2. Brush fillets with melted butter. Set in pan and sprinkle both sides with cheese and spices.
  3. Broil three minutes. Flip fillets and broil three minutes more. Fish is done when it flakes easily with a fork. Don't over cook it or it will be rubbery!
  4. Sprinkle with fresh lemon juice. Garnish with a lemon slice.
