Tilapia is my white fish of choice, but this works with any old white fish that happens to be on sale. Fish and cheese, cheese and fish, cheeeeeese. Gawd, I love cheese. But you have to pair it with something else to call it dinner. Alas!
Ingredients
- 2 white fish fillets
- 2 TBS melted butter
- ¼ c. shredded parm
- 3 TBS italian seasoning
- 2 tsp fresh black pepper
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 lemon
Directions
- Preheat broiler. Grease broiler pan.
- Brush fillets with melted butter. Set in pan and sprinkle both sides with cheese and spices.
- Broil three minutes. Flip fillets and broil three minutes more. Fish is done when it flakes easily with a fork. Don't over cook it or it will be rubbery!
- Sprinkle with fresh lemon juice. Garnish with a lemon slice.
